Makes the female warpaint look more weathered and replaces the dirt with more detailed textures.
Before I edited the warpaint to give it a weathered look I made them more detailed as well.
At a later time I may also do the same with the male warpaint and dirt.
Currently the game does not support high resolution warpaint, using a high resolution will make
them look blocky, much worse than the originals which are only 256x256 in resolution.
These textures are 512x512 and uncompressed, originally they were made at 2048x2048, whenever it's
possible to use those high resolution textures this mod will get updated.
Use the Curse client to install the mod.
Use 7zip or WinRar to extract the files.
Move the Data folder to your Skyrim folder.
You can find the Skyrim folder here: Steam\steamapps\common\skyrim
To those who are new to using Elder Scrolls mods:
- You do not have to extract the .bsa archives. The folder provided by
this mod has the same structure as the inside of the .bsa archive, it will
override the textures that are included in the .bsa file.
- Do not worry about the Data folder that already exists, the folder provided
by this mod will be merged with the existing folder, it will not be overwritten.
Use the Curse client to uninstall the mod.
Remove the following files:
Data\textures\actors\character\character assets\tintmasks\*Any filename containing "female" and "warpaint"*.dds
Data\textures\actors\character\character assets\tintmasks\*Any filename containing "female" and "dirt"*.dds
Compatible with any mod that does not replace female warpaint and/or dirt.
