This is a high-quality texturing mod (currently for whiterun). As you can see in the comparison pictures, i try to keep the same feel to the textures while having actual quality instead of bluriness. Some are actually redrawn at 4 times the resolution of the original file. Currently changed around 35(50 if you count normal and alpha maps, but who does?) of the most encountered textures, it's a work in progress and i think i should be done fully by the end of this friday. Textures are currently 2048x2048 and 1024x2048. =========== Installation: =========== 1) Extract files 2) Copy Textures folder to Skyrim/Data folder 3) Play =========== Uninstallation: =========== 1) Go to your Skyrim/Data folder 2) Delete the Textures folder (not the big file, just making sure !) DISCLAIMER: Use it on your own risk! I cannot be held accountable for any loss or damage you manage to cause by using this mod. That being said, it's a simple texture mod though, so there shouldn't be any issues. !IMPORTANT! Kenosos says he found a fix for the purple textures (apparently you need to have at least 8gb ram for this to work + another user confirmed it to be working). For those of you who encounter the bug feel free to do this, i however haven't which is rather weird considering my system is mid-range and i also played the game with photoshop running in the background eating up like 500 of my 1gb vram + other resources. Kenosos said: So I fixed the purple texture problem for myself. I did this, http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=134. I imagine this will only help if you have 64bit with more than 4GB of RAM though.
