Welcome to my finished release for a high resolution water texture replacement for Skyrim. The default water looks pretty good in Skyrim, but this small texture mod will make it look somewhat realistic. :::INSTALLATION::: Simply extract the folder to your skyrim/data - if prompted to merge or replace files/folders, click yes. Note: My version has smoother y-axis depth than others, and it has a small rippling effect to simulate water on the surface. On the fast-water-movement: I have tried to correct this, the only real fix is to to increase the "distance" between ripples. Still experimenting with this. Only real solution is for the Creation Kit or a release script extender to fix it.
