You know a texture path. You want to see the texture. You're too lazy to go write a quick stub to display it, or extract the assets from the game client and get tools to view BLPs. This helps you with that. Type /texview Paste a texture path into the box that appears Press the x/y scaling buttons until you have the right proportions Scroll the mouse on the frame to zoom

SilverDragon tracks rares. It will try everything possible to notice them and tell you about them. I, as its author, have precisely one quirk: I like a minimal starting experience. That means that by default SilverDragon doesn't know about any rare mobs, and will just learn about them when you encounter new ones. If you want more advance warning, just go to the "Mobs" section of SilverDragon's options and either enter a few mobs you want to look for, or click "import data" to pull in a...

Make some noise when a server restart is about to happen. Theory is that this might be of use when you're sitting there camping for something and not paying direct attention to your WoW window. Notification that the restart is about to happen will (a) let you have one last look around, and (b) know to log back in right away to catch rares whose spawn timer was reset by the restart.

Developer tool for tracking quests as you complete them... including the hidden behind the scenes tracking quests for objects/mobs. I use it to work on my HandyNotes plugins, because the tracking quests are hard to work out otherwise. This provides a DataBroker plugin to display the data. If you don't have a broker viewer installed, type /questschanged to toggle a minimap icon.

QuestPointer puts the quest POI icons from the world map onto your minimap. It'll integrate with TomTom's crazyarrow, if you have it installed. Click the broker plugin or type "/qp closest" to have the crazyarrow point to the current closest quest POI. You can choose to: Auto-track the closest POI in TomTom Only show icons for quests you're watching Make icons on the edge of the minimap become arrows to make it more obvious that they're far away Change the icon scale TODO: Arrowed-icons...

LibQuixote-2.0 is a library that tells you about quests. It handles getting information from the quest log, and letting you know when it has changed. No more annoying scanning and rescanning of the whole thing whenever QUEST_LOG_UPDATE fires! If you want to use it, there's some documentation on the callbacks API.

A HandyNotes plugin to show the Draenor Treasure Hunter items on your map. They're rare spawns, so they're not guaranteed to be there... but at least you'll know where to look. Also includes a number of items which don't qualify for the achievement, but are still nice to find. Items that you've already collected won't be displayed. (This uses the "flag" quests that the game relies on to keep track of the items. Sometimes these glitch; generally if they do so, you also won't have gotten...
