Developer tool for tracking quests as you complete them... including the hidden behind the scenes tracking quests for objects/mobs. I use it to work on my HandyNotes plugins, because the tracking quests are hard to work out otherwise. This provides a DataBroker plugin to display the data. If you don't have a broker viewer installed, type /questschanged to toggle a minimap icon.

QuestPointer puts the quest POI icons from the world map onto your minimap. It'll integrate with TomTom's crazyarrow, if you have it installed. Click the broker plugin or type "/qp closest" to have the crazyarrow point to the current closest quest POI. You can choose to: Auto-track the closest POI in TomTom Only show icons for quests you're watching Make icons on the edge of the minimap become arrows to make it more obvious that they're far away Change the icon scale TODO: Arrowed-icons...

LibQuixote-2.0 is a library that tells you about quests. It handles getting information from the quest log, and letting you know when it has changed. No more annoying scanning and rescanning of the whole thing whenever QUEST_LOG_UPDATE fires! If you want to use it, there's some documentation on the callbacks API.

You know a texture path. You want to see the texture. You're too lazy to go write a quick stub to display it, or extract the assets from the game client and get tools to view BLPs. This helps you with that. Type /texview Paste a texture path into the box that appears Press the x/y scaling buttons until you have the right proportions Scroll the mouse on the frame to zoom

A HandyNotes plugin to show the Lost and Found items on your map. They're rare spawns, so they're not guaranteed to be there... but at least you'll know where to look. Also includes a number of items which don't qualify for the achievement, but are still nice to find. Items that you've already collected won't be displayed. (This uses the "flag" quests that the game relies on to keep track of the items. Sometimes these glitch; generally if they do so, you also won't have gotten...

Shows your LibDataBroker sources in FuBar. Usage Use /b2f to open the configuration UI. There you can select which LDB sources and launchers you want displayed into FuBar. Each enabled source and launcher has some FuBar configuration options in this UI. Known issues Some addon do not define LDB type at creation. Broker2FuBar does not catch it correctly at this moment. This is worked on.

The achievement Higher Dimensional Learning involves hunting down books which spawn in set points occasionally. This will show you the locations of the books you have not yet found. Some of them are a pain to reach, requiring flight or jumping-items, and you might want to rely on the toy Beginner's Guide to Dimensional Rifting to teleport to them. By default it'll only show today's book. This can be disabled if you want to see all of them. Requires HandyNotes

AppearanceTooltip shows you the appearance of items that you see, to help you know whether you actually want to obtain their delicious appearances for your collection. It does this by attaching a Model frame to the item tooltip, showing your character wearing the item. It also improves the default UI so that the "You don't know this appearance" messages will appear on items which don't apply directly to your class! This means you'll be able to log into your Warrior, and tell that your Priest...

SilverDragon tracks rares. It will try everything possible to notice them and tell you about them. I, as its author, have precisely one quirk: I like a minimal starting experience. That means that by default SilverDragon doesn't know about any rare mobs, and will just learn about them when you encounter new ones. If you want more advance warning, just go to the "Mobs" section of SilverDragon's options and either enter a few mobs you want to look for, or click "import data" to pull in a...

A HandyNotes plugin to show the Legion treasure items on your map. (That means it requires HandyNotes, so go install it as well.) This includes: Items found in one-off chests that're mysteriously glowing purple. Items dropped by rare mobs. Important note: Every zone has its own type of randomly-appearing treasure chest. These are genuinely random -- they're not always up, and they can repeat. As such, I don't include any of them. Only one-off chests are in this addon. Items that you've...
