The Curse Client is undergoing a gigantic overhaul, and we need you to test the changes! This will be one of the largest updates the Client has seen -- as such, suggestions are also appreciated!

If you'd like to help out, head to testclientupdate.curse.com, and install this test Client. Please be sure to close the regular Curse Client when testing this one! As almost everything has been changed or updated, every facet of this new Client needs to be tested. Some primary examples include:
- Installing new addons, as well as installing many addons at a time
- Update / Uninstalling existing addons
- Search My Addons / Get More Addons, as well as the search filter
- Viewing Changelog, Description, author links, and web site
- Saved Game Sync
- Scanning for games
- Start Game button
- Update All
- UI Wizard and addon settings cleaner
Any chance a Windows 8 version is on the horizon? Really tired of updating the old way lol.
Does this test version detect addons that I'm developing myself? It seems like those were all missing from the list.
I'd really, really like to see a non-black, unbranded skin. Dark/black UI design isn't everyone's favorite...
Great work Dev Team!
<3 the new Client.
There wont be an update for the Mac client until maybe this Fall. We're working on some other projects involving the Mac first.
Yes. We need an update for the Mac Client soon.
Yea where is the MAC version? No love since 220.127.116.115 Beta.
feedback uploaded :)
The Banner on the top makes the list smaller than before. :( That's basically the only difference I noticed while trying to set it up like the regular version. :-|
Hey guys, Acenth here from the Curse Client team.
We actually have a Mac developer now and will have updates for the Mac Curse Client this year =D
Most likely not, as the Windows client is being developed using the .NET Framework.
Wishfire, I don't know how the MacOS client is being developed, but have you looked at Mono (http://www.mono-project.com/Main_Page)? It might allow you to reuse much of the Windows code.
I hope there's a mac client coming as well?
